Victoria Harbour Lions Support Cancer Journal Project

The Victoria Harbour Lions Club recently donated $1,000 to the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre for a new initiative.

The funds will be directed towards the creation of a Cancer Journal that will provide members with a place to track their personal cancer journal, note dates and times of appointments, and organize documents related to their cancer treatments.

The Mission of the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre is to provide emotional, physical, social, spiritual support, education and information as a complement to the medical system for people affected by cancer.

Our vision is to be recognized throughout North Simcoe, South Georgian Bay, and the surrounding communities as a place of hope, comfort, strength and courage.
