Summer Events Coordinator, Penetanguishene
Type: Full-time Contract
Contract Length: May 4, 2026 – August 28, 2026
Hours/Week: 35 Pay Rate: $19.00
Position Overview: The Events Coordinator will serve as an important part of the GBCSC team and will play an integral role in facilitating the centre’s most important annual fundraising event, The Georgian Bay Cycle for Hope, along with additional fundraising initiatives at our Penetanguishene location. This role will also be central to connecting members of our community to the GBCSC and generating very important revenue for local cancer support.
Reporting to the Marketing and Events Coordinator, the successful candidate will divide their time between working on-site and in the community. This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program and is ONLY eligible to individuals aged 15-30.

This role will also be central to connecting members of our community to the GBCSC through the creation of engaging online content on our website and various social media platforms.
