Men’s Cancer Support Group
2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 4:30pm.

This support group is open to all men dealing with cancer, and especially appropriate for those currently fighting or recently finished treatment. The group works to address the mental and emotional challenges faced by men through the cancer journey and works to build new skills and strategies to manage life moving forward following a cancer diagnosis.


Women’s Cancer Support Group
2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 4:30pm.

This group is an opportunity for women who are fighting cancer or still dealing with the mental and emotional impact of their past battle with cancer to connect with others and build strength, skills, and resiliency.


Caregivers’ Support Group

1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4:30pm.

The group focusses on providing caregivers to those fighting cancer the tools and perspectives to prioritize self-care, effectively cope with the life-changing impact of cancer, and connect with other caregivers. Recommended for individuals serving as the direct caregiver to someone currently fighting cancer, or for immediate household members.

The Mission of the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre is to provide emotional, physical, social, spiritual support, education and information as a complement to the medical system for people affected by cancer.
