Community Yard Sale & BBQ

The GBCSC  is holding a Community Yard Sale & Barbeque on Saturday, June 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The event will also include tours of the Centre until noon that day.

The Community Yard Sale will feature an array of items such as furnishings including shelving and rugs, various household decor items, small appliances, and much more. The proceeds from the Yard Sale will go back to the Centre to support much-needed programs and services for those impacted by cancer in the local area.

The GBCSC will be accepting donations of items from June 20 to 22 at the Centre located at 45 Edward Street in Penetanguishene. Items we are looking for include: Small appliances or working electronic items; Household furnishings (shelves, small tables, lamps); DVDs, CDs, Video games; Dishes, kitchenware. 

Drop items off between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during operating hours only.

The barbeque will be happening later morning around 11 a.m. Everyone can enjoy some food and a light beverage for a donation to the GBCSC. Plus, the popular Butter Tart Sundaes, which were a big hit at the Butter Tart Festival on June 10, will also be available by donation for dessert.
