The GBCSC is so fortunate to have local businesses who have supported us over the year. One of those businesses is Poppy & Peonies. This fall as one of our Paint the Town Pink Community Partners, the firm raised over $8,200 for the GBCSC by donating a portion of sales of pink and blush accessories in October. We can’t say enough how thankful we are for this incredible support for the programs and services we offer our members.

Based in Penetanguishene, Poppy & Peonies was founded by designer Natalie Dusome. She created a Metis female-founded, cruelty-free Canadian accessory brand now available around the world. The firm is well-known for its many bags, hats, cosmetic bags, and other fashionable accessories.

Founder and owner Natalie noted her firm was more than happy to help out.

“We love this community, and to this day they remain our biggest supporters, they helped us get Poppy & Peonies off the ground and it’s a privilege to give back! Cancer affects so many of us, and we’re so grateful to have the Georgian Bay Cancer Centre in our community to help those affected and their families when they need it most.
