A Family’s Backyard Party Brings Hope

The Kraftscik Family hosted a summer party on July 12 in support of cancer fighters and those who fight with them.  The backyard celebration raised $35,577, with funds being split equally between the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) and the GBCSC. Over $17,000 was raised for the Brian & Anita Millett GAP Fund.

The event, now in its second year, was organized by Martin Kraftscik, along with his wife Nicole who is battling stage 4 breast cancer.

The GBCSC and its members are so grateful to the Kraftscik family and everyone who contributed to help those fighting cancer locally.
