SEGBAY Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Supports GAP Fund
Once again this year, a portion of proceeds from the SEGBAY Fundraising Golf Tournament, held in partnership with Pure Country 106 and Bounce Radio 104.1, was donated to the Brian & Anita Millett GAP Fund. This fund provides financial assistance for gas, accommodations, and parking through passes and gift cards, helping to ease the burden of travel expenses for those impacted by cancer in our community.
Together, $10,500 was raised through tournament proceeds and generous contributions from the Baxter Ward Lions Club and the Doane Grant Thornton Foundation. Thank you to SEGBAY for stopping by and for continuing to champion comfort, care, and connection in our community.
We were so happy to welcome members of the Segbay Chamber of Commerce and Tourism to the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre for a special visit and cheque presentation in early October (see photo above).
