April is an extra-special month for the GBCSC as we mark Cancer Awareness Month. This year, our aim is to raise $80,000 to support those impacted by cancer in our communities of North Simcoe and Southern Georgian Bay.
Our 2026 campaign looks to be the biggest yet. With five generous donors pledging $40,000 to gift matches, you can select how your gift will make a difference for your family, friends, & neighbours.
Support the delivery of programs and services for those in need locally matched up to $15,000.
Support the Brian & Anita Millett GAP Fund covering out-of-area treatment costs matched to $25,000.
There are also lots of things happening this month, including…
Sold out Trivia Night at the Penetanguishene Legion on April 10th.
Outreach in the Community will be led by Members and volunteers as they head out to various locations in the community to spread awareness about the Centre and raise funds.
National Caregiver Day (April 7th) will highlight these members on that day including in our online communications
Help us make this another record-breaking fundraiser to help those in our community facing cancer.
